Montessori Myth (misconception, fallacy, false belief) Week 1:
❌ Montessori is not for children of color.
✅ Truth: Montessori is the very environment that many black families are seeking.
The Montessori approach is rooted in respect for others and focuses on helping children to build self confidence through the use of the Montessori materials. Students in a Montessori classroom learn to work with one another and naturally create an inclusive community.
This is a great article that all parents should read but especially those with black children.
